Belle maison de campagne spacieuse en Charente avec piscine privée

We enjoyed in a group of 10 friends our stay at this lovely house located in a peaceful region. The garden and large poolarea are beautiful, the kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are unique and well-spaced. The owners set great value on detail. We couldn't have wished for more. The house offers tabletennis, a field for boule, bicycles, TVs, two refrigerators, a washing machine and many more things for your comfort. Moreover the host Antonia answered every question very friendly and quickly. We recommend the house strongly!

On arrival we were amazed to find the house and gardens were so much more than we had expected. It certainly had the 'Wow' effect when we looked around it for the first time. We soon settled in and a week went by far too quickly. Most of our time was spent enjoying the lovely pool and gardens, picking delicious ripe plums from the trees, cooking evening meals on the Plancha and eating outside at the large table. We made use of the bikes, the various games and all that the house offered. The owners have thought of everything which gives the house a very comfortable feel. We all visited the Grotte de Villars and Brantome which made a very enjoyable outing. We would certainly recommend the house to friends.

The beautifully renovated property is in a great location if you're looking for a quiet stay, the grounds are stunning and the large patio and pool are great additions. The owners supplied everything we could have needed, garden and board games, kitchen equipment and basic cooking ingredients. Hair driers, blankets, even a first aid kit. This all made our stay even more comfortable. The house is very spacious, even with 12 of us staying, it wasn't crowded, there are enough communal spaces for everyone to gather together or branch off if wanted. The owners were very responsive before, during and after our stay with our questions and requests for recommendations. The only slight negative we found, which is in no way a reflection of the owners. The flies, wasps and hornets were a nuisance during our stay in mid August The addition of some wasps traps would have been great. Obviously their presence can not be helped by the owners.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour qui nous a permis de profiter des premiers beaux jours. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine chauffée et jouer à la pétanque sur le terrain. La maison et l'extérieur ont beaucoup de cachet. La maison est très grande et permet à chacun d'avoir son espace. De plus elle est très bien équipée et il est très agréable d'y cuisiner. Seule petite remarque sur les lits/matelas que nous avons trouvé un peu mous :)

Nous avons réservé la maison pour un week-end prolongé entre amis/famille dont 5 enfants. Tout était parfait ! La maison est immense avec plusieurs salons et même si nous étions nombreux, jamais nous n'avons eu l'impression d'être à l'étroit. La maison est parfaitement meublée/équipée/ décorée ( famille d'artistes ?). L'environnement est superbe : aucun vis à vis, vue sur la campagne environnante. La terrasse, le jardin, la piscine : tous les extérieurs sont très bien entretenus. La piscine ( chauffée) a été un vrai plus car la météo a été très clémente et nous nous sommes baignés tous les jours. Nous sommes repartis enchantés avec pour seule idée en tête : relouer la maison l'année prochaine

We had a 8 person family event in the property during the last week of school holidays. As the title explains my granddaughter loved it. Endless days in the pool, playing and lazying around. It was very warm, 34C even, so we alternated hours outside with hours inside the house, which is surprisingly cool. There is mention of airconditioning on the website, but it are actually overhead fans and floorstand fans. The house is extensively equipped with everything, from the kitchen to pool toys and other kids toys for the garden. We had a lovely time, thank you Antonia for pre stay guidance.

A wonderfully spacious holiday home. Lovely and clean. The support we got from the owners was fantastic and the check in process was very easy. The pool area was lovely, the pool is deep very quickly, No shallow area for small ones but it worked well for us. Lots of open garden for the kids and views of the friendly cows. The kitchens were very well equipped and had everything we needed, lots of options for places to eat in the house with a big crowd. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable. The weather wasn’t amazing for our week so we spent a bit of time out of the house looking for villages and towns to explore and there didn’t seem to be many in close proximity but we found a few interesting places. Overall probably the nicest house we have stayed in in France over the years.

We had a wonderful holiday with friends and family at this beautiful house. We were three families holidaying together and yet we still had lots of space to play and catch up. The garden is perfect for children to run around and play and the parents enjoyed a drink every evening in a different little area around the garden. The pool area is perfect for enjoying and afternoon altogether. The kitchen is well equipped and we ate outside at the big table for most meals. The house is clean and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend staying here as it has everything you need for the perfect holiday.
