Jean-Pierre and Chantal were the perfect hosts. On arrival at their delightful property they were there to greet us and show us around . During our stay they were always available to answer any questions at short notice. The property has been refurbished to a very high standard in keeping with its character, wooden beams , wood burner and also very tastefully furnished. The property is positioned in generous mature grounds with a south facing garden and a beautiful outside pool with a proper cover allowing you to swim all year round. Such is the spacious outside area that you can work your way around the garden each day, with breakfast on the patio area moving to the swimming pool zone before moving to the playing area be it badminton or boules. Then back to the patio for evening bbq everything is perfect! For provisions there is a local supermarket and Boulangerie some 10 minutes away by car. Should you wish to explore the village and around there are a great selection of bicycles and pleasant walks on foot. The area is very pretty with river Vannon close by. Our holiday was so good we’ve booked again but you need to be quick too secure your dates as this is a very popular property . 10 out of 10!

As it was such a hot week, we used the pool many times a day, and house was so well appointed and equipped, it had everything we needed. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable time, merci beaucoup!

Very kind hosts! We felt like coming home. House is beautiful, many excellent facilities, such as heated swimming pool, many seated areas, péntanque playing field, BBQ, in house fire place with wood provided. Very nice interior decoration and atmosphere. Perfect place to recover from busy daily life. Very suitable for kids. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic holiday at Le Plessis Vannon. Property is quiet, spacious and private with large gardens and pool area (including pool house with its own microwave, cooker hob and fridge, and toilet), which are completely secluded and well stocked with furniture. Pool was a nice temperature throughout. Open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opening up onto a patio with BBQ meant nobody was away from whatever was going on in the evenings. Everything in the property is well finished and tastefully decorated - nice kitchen with large fridge/freezer, clean and modern bathrooms and showers, plenty of hot water! Really couldn't have asked for much more. Before arriving, I was a little apprehensive about potential road noise. Wasn't a problem at all - perhaps 5 cars an hour going past. Bakery is about 1km away and a couple of supermarkets are perhaps 5km away. The bigger towns such as Dijon etc are more of a drive away but not too much of an issue. Owners left us to our own devices but live over the road if there are any issues. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

We had a fantastic week in this comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean property. The substantial garden and pool area were delightful and we made daily use of them. The charming owners were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommended the property.

We had 6 fantastic days in Le Plessis-Vannon the last week in April. The weather was perfect and we managed to enjoy all the delights of the beautiful area and especially those of the lovely house. We have been to France every year since 2008 and have stayed in a lot of houses, but Le Plessis-Vannon has been the most immaculate, pleasant and well kept of them all... Every detail was thought of and cared for; a lovely bouquet of roses greeted us in the living room, coffee capsules for the nespresso machine was available, logs of wood for the woodburning stove, a bottle of wine, milk, water and eggs for the first breakfast if we needed it. All the utensils in the kitchen was in great shape and not a thing was missing in order to cook every meal of the day. The beds were vere comfortable and the bathrooms were beautifully decorated and spotless and clean. We spend our days driving around the beautiful landscape in our car visiting the cosy and charming comtoise villages, took strolls around the village of Membrey and the Vannon to enjoy the nightingales singing and riding the bikes that were available at the house to the river Saône. Our afternoons were spent by the covered heated pool and at the petang court...total bliss. We left the Plessis-Vannon feeling absolutely free of stress and totally relaxed. We would highly recommend this fantastic romantic and immaculate gem and hope to visit it again soon in the future ❤ Niels, Peter, Steen & Mette Nørgaard, Denmark

On our arrival we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome by the owners, Chantal and Jean Pierre. Le Plessis-Vannon was everything we expected and more, it was adorable. We didn't want for anything, everything you could think of in a home was there to make it a perfect stay. Whether I sat in the house, in the garden or around the pool it all had a sumptuous feel. The climate was in the 30's, perfect for me, but shade could be found in various locations in the garden for those wishing it. Of course there is a the pool too which was ideally heated and we had good fun. A beer in the garden playing boules in the afternoon, followed by a bike ride after dinner was perfect. Chantal and Jean Pierre were lovely and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay the best it could be. Thank you Chantal and Jean Pierre, you should be very proud of yourselves, the house is stunning.

This is a stunning conversion of an old property into a luxury villa. Our first reaction on being shown round was 'wow!' All the basics there, so you can save money on the likes of dishwasher and washing tablets, and the usual cooking ingredients. The pool is heated to 28 degrees, and with the hot weather recently, went up to nearly 32, perfect for me! The cover is easy to roll back, not an issue. There are five bikes for your use, as well as a boules court which doubles up for badminton and soft tennis. Loads of places in the completely private garden to sit out in the sun, so you can be in sun or shade at any time of day. The kitchen has an induction hob and large oven, American side by side fridge freezer with water filter, microwave, and all necessary pots, pans and cooking tools. Utility room has washing machine, sink, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, and drying racks. By the pool is a mini kitchen with fridge, gas rings and all pool and garden games equipment, plus another loo. Jean-Pierre and Chantal are a lovely couple who are anxious that you should make the most of your stay, but although they live very close by, you won't see them after arrival unless you seek them out. This is a wonderful place to stay. I could add that if the weather is really exceptionally hot there is no air con or fan, but that did not detract from our enjoyment of our holiday, can heartily recommend.
