Belle maison en pierres dans un grand parc, piscine chauffée, calme assuré

This was a stunning property, with glorious views and ideally located for day explorations of nearby hill top villages. We had lovely days visiting sights in the morning then lounging on the terrace and by the pool. Our son adored playing the pool (which in July was nice and shaded by 4pm, an ideal time for playing before dinner/BBQ).

The property is in a beautiful secluded setting and the surrounding countryside is lovely too. There are lots of medieval hilltop villages and plenty of cycling, and walking routes for the more active. Maeva and Cédric looked after us well and when we had a problem they sorted it out straight away.

The area is quiet and peaceful, no direct neighbours and set on a huge plot of Land with total privacy. The house is nicely laid out. We used the Jacuzzi and it was nice and relaxing. There is no outside light so a torch for letting the dog out is a must! This is not a good property for people with hip and knee problems as the surrounding area is very steep. For children a good area as they can play and run around there without any problems. Offers TV with multi Languages and good internet connection. The only thing needed was a normal coffee machine (which we brought with us) not one with capsules. This is an ideal property for 2 of for a small family to have total privacy in a secluded area!

The property was just as described and was wonderfully quiet and private. We loved the heated pool and spa which we were able to use even though the weather was not hot. We also enjoyed visiting places of historic and artistic interest even though this often meant driving quite far to get there.

We had a great 2 weeks at Villa Des Combes. The interior and facilities within this Villa are superb - wanting for nothing. The grounds are expansive and heaven for an excitable dog. It is so vibrantly green, more so as we visited at the beginning of May - the leaves were new on the trees making it so lush. Fantastic, calm and peaceful area. It was absolutely perfect – a dream. Peace and quiet. We had an extra treat of seeing deer in the ground.

We really had a great stay at this beautiful stone house. The property was very pretty and we had total privacy. The hikes were beautiful with amazing scenery which could be accessed from the house.

We had a great stay here in Cedric and Maeva's cottage. The gardens are magical (forests, stream with bridge, lawns and stone carvings) and we enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings, and the view of Bruniquel castle from the house. It's well located for a stroll into the village and there are many lovely villages in the area to drive to. The house was well equipped and the owners were friendly and responsive. Autumn was a beautiful time to visit, although the house doesn't see the sun at all at this time of year (October) which is a shame, but in the summer it would be even better. The hot tub was a brilliant feature and we enjoyed using it during our stay. We would love to see a welcome folder with info about the house and local area too. NB.
