Belle rénovation d'une grange dans le village médiéval de Lavardens (Gers)

The property is spacious and airy. The decor is beautiful. It had everything we needed for it to be a home from home. The sundeck was great for breakfast and relaxing. We had a wonderful stay. It was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Laure and Didier's property. The local restaurant was also very good and it was a good base from which to explore Les Gers.

Everything we needed to be comfortable was included for our 7 day stay. We were able to cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen, do laundry, and sit inside or outdoor to eat meals. The Gite has been furnished tastefully and has two levels plus the lower terrace. Feeding the fish in the fountain pond on the terrace was our favorite thing to do besides touring the countryside villages. Our hosts were helpful and informed us of nearby supermarket/grocery locations. We hope to stay here again!

Tout était parfait du début à la fin. La maison est superbe avec une vue sur les collines depuis le premier étage. La cuisine bien équipée, les lits confortables et l'accueil chaleureux. Un rêve.

La Buse Bleue is an excellent gite in the heart of Lavardens. The property has been tastefully renovated and has many modern facilities, in particular the kitchen and shower room. Having the bedrooms downstairs is a practical innovation, especially during hot weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My son and I stayed in this delightful property. It is a fantastic house with amazing views across the countryside. It is surprisingly spacious and everything has been designed with care and attention to detail. The owners are charming and could not have been more helpful. We would definitely want to stay there again.

This property is delightful, we were welcomed by Laure and Didier who showed us how everything worked. They live nearby and were really helpful. The two bedrooms and shower room were immaculately decorated, clean and comfortable. The patio is private and all the chairs and beds clean and neat, ready to use. The fish pond is an added interest, I counted 24 fish! The living area was open plan and spacious which we liked, with views out over the rooftops and countryside, with the windows open it felt like we were in the open air. Everything we needed for cooking was available. It is a small kitchen but all the equipment was of high quality so we could make interesting meals with local ingredients. It was lovely to be so close to the historic castle, not to be missed, with a restaurant next door. The cafe and small shop in the village was also fun to visit. Although we stayed for three days, we could have spent a lot longer in Lavardens. I recommend this property for a relaxing and quiet break, with a big thank you to Laure and Didier.
