Belle villa dans grand jardin arboré, au calme, avec piscine privatif , 6 pers

When we arrived we were shown around the house and gardens and felt immediately at home. The rooms are comfortable and the house very tastefully decorated and clean. The garden is large and very private and we spent many hours in the fantastic swimming pool. The three cats were friendly and were an instant hit with our children who wanted to bring them home with them. The house is full of books of all kinds and there is also a selection of board games which is a nice touch. In terms of the area; We walked into Eguilles a couple of times - it takes about twenty minutes - and found that it is a pretty town with great views of the surrounding countryside. There are a couple of good bakeries there and a few other shops and restaurants and a small but charming market which we found is open on a Tuesday. Aix en Provence is a twenty minute drive and is a very lively town full of interesting restaurants, shops and markets. I would definitely recommend spending an evening or two there. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Eguilles and would definitely like to return one day.
