Belle villa de caractère, vue mer, terrasses, expo sud, jardin plage

This is a lovely (and obviously loved) family home, perfectly situated. It's literally right on the cycle path, and a 2 minute walk from a sweet little beach (and bar), and the coastal path which leads all the way into the pretty harbour town of Pornic. We were a family group of 13 and had plenty of space. We were lucky with the weather so were often outside in the pretty, sheltered garden, but even if we had been stuck inside the house it is spacious, warm and welcoming (although you do have to pay water and heating on top, which I found a little unusual). We rent a big house like this every year in Brittany or Normandy to get together with our grown-up children - and everyone's conclusion was that this was the best house so far! Both the nicest , and the best situated. I have to admit I was a little daunted by the long list of house rules before we arrived, and was worried the house would be very fragile, but actually once we arrived I realised they all made sense. It's an old house, and obviously a real home, so just needed to be treated with respect. Thank you Helene for the easy contact by whatsap. We'd love to come back another time.
