😊: This is an excellent stay for cyclists - they have a locked garage for bikes in the courtyard. This unit is in a quiet, gardened, cool interior courtyard right in the centre of old Besancon - virtually in the shadow of the citadel. It is very quiet, has a well equipped kitchen, a coffee machine, and is a 2 street walk from the centre of town. The unit is ground-floor with bedroom and bathroom upstairs. There is a rainforest shower, plenty of hot water, a washing machine and the heating rail has a fan to dry washing. We could have stayed much longer.. 😢: The wifi really only works downstairs - perhaps a wifi extender is needed for upstairs. Also the stairs are a little narrow and steep - possibly not for the mobility impaired, but there is a railing and plenty to hold onto..

😊: Charming apartment in the old town. Stylish and overall good value for money.. 😢: Kitchenware (scratched pots and pans) could be updated..

😊: A very quiet place, Eurovelo 6 just beside, La boulangerie pas loin. Wonderful!.
