Between Cannes and Golfe Juan, beautiful sea view 500 m from the beach in absolute calm

This was a wonderful stay. It's partly resort with lovely grounds, views, a pool, and tennis courts. No restaurant (but no problem). The unit is a fully equipped apartment with a balcony and ocean - sorry, "sea" - view as my wife kept correcting me. It was July and we did not need AC. We had the front and back sliding doors open almost the whole time when in, and a ready breeze kept everything temperate and comfortable. We ate our meals on the balcony. Golfe-Juan is a quaint shoreline community with a local, not tourist, feel to it located between Cannes and Antibes. It has a beautiful sand beach, a significant marina, and a row of restaurants along the harbour. Kudos to La Sirene specifically, a Turko-Lebanese establishment that went out of their way to customize gluten-free meals for my daughter. The staff were wonderful, and the food delicious.Parking in the main beach lot was always easy and available.To us, this was the perfect trade-off for a pleasant Cote d'Azure vacation in a lovely spot without the heavy crowding & tourism. You can always drive a few km in either direction if you WANT the heavy crowding & tourism. :)Checking in is easy but needs to be coordinated a day or so ahead of time. Our hostess Joyce graciously helped us out with all of that and answered all our questions. The unit has dedicated parking. This property met almost (see below for details) all of our needs and expectations. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We were especially happy with the kitchen, which was quite spacious and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We were delighted to find freezer packs in the freezer; we used these to keep our lunches cold while we were out exploring the area. The shower was fantastic, as was the big bathtub. We were very happy to have use of the clothes washer, and were pleased to find a drying rack along with clothespins in one of the closets. The bed was very comfortable and there was lots of dresser and closet space in the main bedroom. The pool was fantastic, large with lots of lounge chairs around it, although the water was quite cool when we were there in mid-September. Joyce was very responsive to our communications and concerns and worked around our schedule for check-in and check-out. Our only concern with this property was the internet access - there was none in the unit itself, despite the fact that the VRBO listing explicitly lists internet as one of the amenities. To get wifi you actually have to go down to the office on the ground floor, as there is no wired or wireless internet access in the apartment itself. This was very disappointing to us, given that the listing led us to expect that we'd have access in the unit, and we use the internet a lot when we're traveling to explore and plan our adventures. To be fair, Joyce did offer us a work-around in the form of a SIM card, but for reasons that are unique to us this was not a solution that was viable for us. Over all, though, we were pleased with this rental. Thank you, Joyce, for sharing it with us!

Die Wohnanlage ist sehr gepflegt und gut gesichert. Der Pool und die Gartenanlage werden täglich gereinigt und gepflegt. Die Wohnung ist mit einer modernen Küche ausgestattet die alles hat, was man als Familie benötigt. Das Bad ist frisch renoviert und hat super Wasserdruck in der Dusche und Badewanne (das ist mit dicken langen Haaren sehr wichtig!). Sie haben auch eine mobile Klimaanlage, die überall aufgestellt werden kann. Die beiden Schlafzimmer gehen nach hinten raus und haben einen 2. Balkon, auf dem man super seine Wäsche trocknen kann. Dafür sind sogar zwei Wäscheständer vorhanden. Die Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine erleichtern einer Familie den Alltag. Das einzige schwierige ist, wenn man Teenager hat, W-lan gibt es nur unten im Office. Der eine möchte das gerne so, der andere vielleicht nicht. Jocelyne war sehr hilfsbereit und für uns immer erreichbar. Vielen Dank!!! Hier kann man einen ruhigen und entspannten Urlaub verbringen mit einer unbezahlbaren Aussicht. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung war sauber und insbesondere die Küche super ausgestattet. Der Empfang war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Tennisplatz und Swimmingpool Poll haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Für Einkäufe braucht man allerdings das Auto, da die Wohnung sehr hoch liegt und nur über enge Straßen erreichbar ist. Wem das nicht stört, findet Ruhe und einen traumhaften Ausblick aufs Meer.
