😊: Really close to local amenities and the mountains. Easy walking distance to the town and local attractions. Especially close to the Mer De Glacé train, which my children loved! Lovely outdoor space, with beautiful views of Mont Blanc from the deck. Picnic bench was lovely to have dinner in the evening. Clean and stylishly decorated. Super clear instructions on how to enter the property. Great communication from the host, from the moment we landed. Underground parking which was spacious and safe. Bedrooms had lots of storage.. 😢: These are really ridiculous things in the grand scheme of things, but: It was very warm - great in the winter-time, not so great in the summer months! However, there was a fan in each bedroom to help with this. The apartment is quite dark - I am spoilt at home and used to lots of light. Again, being ground floor and right next to the mountains is the main cause. Nothing to do with the property, but it did mean we were always turning on lights. Despite sleeping six people, there is only one toilet. This was fine for us (family of four: two young children) but if you are a group of 6 adults it may be close quarters!.

😊: Location. 😢: Only one toilet, despite advert saying there are two bathrooms Poor customer service: access codes were not provided on time, I had to chase; they blamed Booking for the number of toilets advertised rather than aknowledging they could change the advert, the person I spoke to was rude Apartment was not clean, the floors were dirty, dishes as well and the bedding had stains.

Efficient but business like. Location was great. Flat comfortable and had everything we needed.

😊: Apartment is very nicely furnished and has mountain atmosphere. It is big and comfortable. Kitchen small but very well equipped. Overall apartment has a lot of space for a family of four. It is ski to door option. It has a very nice ski lockers with heaters for the ski shoes. We did not need to use it as we did not come by car but underground parking was offered to us and included in the price. Apartment is within walking distance to the citry center and minutes away from the alpine train station.. 😢: It has nothing to do with the property. Company that runs the property is requesing 500 euros deposit which was not mentioned on the booking web site. They do not come to inspect the facilities at the beginning and at the end so one can only hope that everything will be fine and they will not charge us. I felt a bit bombarded with number of emials and reqeusts I kept getting in a week before the arrival..

😊: The property was immaculately presented and in a fabulous location. The view of Mont Blanc from the terrace was stunning and it was just a five walk into the centre of Chamonix. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were finished to a very high standard. The property was quiet and the underground parking very secure. The Nespresso coffee pod machine was very welcome.. 😢: The kitchen was very well equipped with all manner of pots, pans, cooking dishes etc. However, food storage and preparation space was quite limited, so you would need to be an organised cook if you were going to prepare big meals for four every evening. We ate out every night in some of the fabulous restaurants in town, so it was no bother at all, but worth knowing if cooking is your thing..
