Bleu Azur, piscine lagon, plage à pied

😊: Fantastic location right on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The beach is only a short walk from the apartment and was pleasantly quiet. Great selection of beachfront restaurants and a snack bar close by. The apartment was well equipped and had most things we needed for a comfortable stay.. 😢: The property is located within a very tightly controlled complex where entry and exit is only possible using a key fob. This applies not only to the main entrance but also to the two pool gates and the beach access gate. As a family of four with two teenagers, we found this quite restrictive, as it meant constantly coordinating our movements and access. The pool area was also disappointing. There were no sun loungers or chairs provided, which we would normally expect at a property of this type. It appeared that loungers could be rented daily, or guests had to bring their own. We feel that basic poolside seating should be included as part of the property's facilities. We also found the host somewhat unreceptive when issues arose during our stay. A neighbouring property complained about water from the air conditioning unit leaking onto their terrace. Rather than resolving the issue, we were advised to use a mop and bucket to empty the system regularly ourselves. In addition, we found a lipstick mark on a cup and a used tissue in a drawer upon arrival. While the host maintained that the property had been thoroughly cleaned, these findings suggested that the cleaning standards were not as thorough as expected. This did not ruin our holiday, but it did detract from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful location..
