The hostesses was absolutely fantastic! The house was lovely and the garden was beautiful! The house was very comfortable,clean and everything that was needed to cook and wash clothes was provided! We appreciated her attentiveness to details, even the nice orchids! The location was very convenient to the Tram. Overall, superb place to stay. Merci Bridgette! We will come back, no hesitation!
We had a wonderful stay at this rental home in Bordeaux. The location was fantastic, close to a tram with only a 15-20 minute ride to centre of Bordeaux. The home was well stocked with all the amenities, communication with the owner was excellent, she provided many extras including English books on attractions in the area. The home was even better than the pictures revealed on the website. We would definitely stay here again.

Das Haus liegt an optimaler Lage im Quartier St. Augustin und hat einen sehr schönen Garten. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Wir verbringen seit mehreren Jahren unseren Urlaub im wunderschönen Haus von Brigitte.

Komplett ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank inkl. Eiswürfel-Maker, Wasch- und Spülmaschine; sehr schöner, kleiner Garten mit Sichtschutz/Einfriedung zur Straße und genug Sitzmöglichkeiten; einziger Makel: fehlende Klimaanlage, die bei 14 Tagen über 30° dringend benötigt worden wäre; soll aber wohl nachgerüstet werden; ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg zur Tramhaltestelle, anschließend ca. 15 Minuten mit der Tram bis ins Zentrum; Bäcker, Fleischer und Obst/Gemüsehändler fußläufig in 10 Minuten erreichbar; in 60-80 Minuten mit dem Auto zu den Atlantikstränden (Lacanau-Ocean, Cap Ferret, Carcans-Plage)
The host, Bridgette is terrific. She met us at the property, gave us a thorough explanation of her home, the appliances and the neighborhood. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. It is about 1.7km from the city center which necessitates a tram ride to the city from the stop that is close to the house. You should know that there are very few taxis or Ubers around Bordeaux so public transportation (bus or tram is a must). The only downside of the property is that it is not air conditioned. Otherwise it is a lovely, well equipped residence with the best host that we have encountered on our trip so far.
Wer Landschaft, Kultur, Stadt und Natur gleichzeitig erleben will, ist hier genau richtig. Museale, gleichzeitg praktische Einrichtung, schöner, eingefriedeter Garten mitten in der Stadt. Sehr freundliche, entgegenkommende Vermieterin. Wer das erste Mal hier ist und die Umgebung von den Weinanbaugebieten bis zum Atlantik und natürlich Bordeaux selbst kennen lernen will, sollte zwei Wochen Minimum einplanen.
