Bright Apt 70m2 in Bayeux historic center

😊: The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the centre of Bayeux. The apartment dates back to the late 17th century, full of charm and history. It was peaceful, elegant & quiet. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.. 😢: All good 👍.

😊: I was really cozy apartment with nice host. Apartment is located just in the town and has good connection both to the old town, as well as main transport roads to main destinations. It was very comfortable to stay, and kitchen was full of everything, you need to prepare French dinner at home. Thank you Heloïse again!. 😢: Bayeux Tapestry Museum is closed nowadays - we need to come back later :).

😊: It’s a lovely place, but there are some big bugs… Location is great, apartment and the building it’s in are both lovely. Host friendly and helpful. Loved the airy feel, tall windows, high ceilings etc. kitchen is well equipped, bathroom (small) is good.. 😢: Two decent sized bedrooms - although in one it is very difficult to walk round the bed to the window and curtains. Although on our visit the curtains were broken and had to stay shut. This room had a small chest. The other bedroom has ZERO storage space for clothes. So prepare to live out of your bag on the floor. This was a major shortcoming. Then there’s the parking! Listed as having parking, but we met the ‘Admiral’ first day who told us we could not park there - residents only. Left a real sour taste. Last day found a note on the car saying the same. The parking out the front has gone and the listing should be updated to reflect that. Alternative parking is not that easy to find either. Finally, we were not met at the apartment by the host, had to drive to other side of town. That is a let down..

Central location<br>#128578; Ideally located to the centre of the city with modern fittings and well set up kitchen. A second separate toilet would have been a welcome addition.<br>#128577; There was no hanging space other than a coat stand at the front door. Second bedroom was small if two couples were sharing. No power point for the the hair dryer in the bathroom and the cord was too short to properly use the power point outside the door as an alternative.
