😊: Clean and comfy apartment. Washing machine is small, but good it was available. New IKEA furnishings made this place feel like home.. 😢: The apartment was nice and comfortable. However, the way it’s managed made our stay less enjoyable. Check-Out Time Check-out was at 10 a.m., which is very early for any hotel or B&B. We asked if we could stay a bit longer, but the answer was a firm “no.” We were told to leave by 10 a.m. and to make sure the keys were left in the lockbox. The reason given was that the cleaning staff is busy during summer. But in reality, no one came to clean the apartment until after 12 p.m. Rules for Guests There were also quite a few rules from the management, such as: - Wash all dishes and put them back in the cupboards - Take out the trash ourselves These things felt more like chores and not what you expect during a holiday. Because the cleaning is done by guests, I noticed there was soapy water left in the teapot, the coffee maker was so scaled it didn’t work, and some broken glasses hadn’t been replaced. Leaving the Apartment Getting out was also a bit tricky. The garage could only be opened from inside using a remote. After that, we had to go back into the apartment to leave the remote, then lock the door, and finally put the apartment key into the lockbox outside. It was a confusing and annoying process. Final Thoughts While the apartment itself was good, the strict rules and check-out process made the stay less relaxing. A little more flexibility and simpler instructions would really help..
