Bulle de fraîcheur - Studio confort sur la plage

😊: The flat is located next to the beach but facing north side with trees so it was nice and cool in the heatwave we experienced. The flat is small but comfortable for 2 people, with a kitchen annex sufficient for making breakfast or a simple meal. We parked the car in the car park to the back and there were spaces (we visited not in peak season). The owner answer our query promptly and the gaining access was easy. The beach is large and lovely but covered in millions of shells so bring shoes.. 😢: None.

😊: Clean, quiet, very comfy bed, well designed space and super well equipped flat. Le Pouliguen village centre is only a 7 min stroll along the harbour with all the commerces needed. Safe private parking.. 😢: Damp smell in the bathroom but clean and no mould so likely due to the fact it hadn’t been used for a while..

😊: Perfect location, between La Boule and Le Pouligen. The building is very nice and quiet, with a beautiful garden at the back and the front entrance leading directly to the beach. The studio is also nice and the terrace is exactly as shown in the pictures. The host was very kind and replied promptly to our messages.. 😢: The apartment is a bit neglect: there are broken objects and un unpleasant smell. It clearly needs some maintenance and repairs. We also wonder what is included in the cleaning fee as, when we arrived there, almost everything as dirty. We had to spend a few hours washing the dishes and vacuum cleaning before using the space. Also, and more importantly, the towels and the bed linen had a strange smell and looked dirty. There was no soap in the toilet, only a very poor mixture of soap leftovers with water, and the same for the dish detergent. We contacted the host and the cleaning lady came over the next day with new towels and bed linen. However, those towels and the pillowcases had been newly purchased (!!!) and so we had to wash and dry them before we could use them. In short, part of our vacation was spent solving cleaning problems and, despite the host's kindness, the experience ended up being very different from what we expected..
