😊: Spacious, comfortable apartment; well situated - easy access to shops, cinema, restaurants, beach, just opposite the town hall with its belfry and next to the park with the aquarium and wartime bunker (Calais has free buses which stop close by and the station is next door. Try the free canal boat as well - we even had a concert on our trip!).. 😢: Very minor - the ceilings are high and so there were a few cobwebs about but it must be hard for the cleaners to reach. Parking is along the street and is free. As the property is just at the border of the limited time zone, you may have to search for a space, but overall no big difficulty. Only 1 rather thin pillow is provided (we always bring our own just in case).
