Caliopa

😊: Villa was spacious with very good facilities, such as: well appointed gym with a sauna, very nice pool plus outdoor kitchen and BBQ area. Lounge area was very comfortable and accompanied by a very nice dining area. Good kitchen facilities (big range cooker, microwave) and a utility room with steam iron, washing machine and dryer. Location to Grasse was great and also to surrounding attractions such as Cannes, Nice etc. Property also had good security facilities with shutters on the major windows/entrances and locked gates.. 😢: The property designated parking was not at all suitable for vehicles that have a low ride height and longer wheel bases. We were told to park here but grounded our car both in and out of the driveway. Fortunately, the property has a further parking area which is suitable but meant that the car was always kept outside in the sun. The property particulars should really state the issue with the designated space to avoid further issues as we had experienced. The pool area seats are a bit tired and sag in the middle since they are now degrading. There were no plastic glasses/cups for use by the pool, which we thought would have been provided given the potential risk of broken glasses around and potentially in the pool itself. One of the bathroom toilets (downstairs) would not stop running when flushed. A number of the kitchen crockery and cutlery/utensils were not very clean and we had to wash them before using. We also had a number of the plug sockets not working in the bathroom (parental suite). Additionally, when it came to the end of our stay and we had to remove the bedding and towels for cleaning, we were mortified to see that the bed mattress had a lot of very evident stains. There were no pillow protectors used as well. Overall, whilst the villa had a lot of good facilities, it did appear that there is need of some remedial work on the fabric of the building..

Fantastisk hus beliggende i kuperet, hyggeligt og smukt område. Vejene fra Grasse centrum dertil er smalle og til tider meget stejle. Vi blev checket ind af CC, som var meget omhyggelig med at forklare om husets inventar og diverse funktioner og teknikaliteter. Han havde en fantastisk humor og var meget venlig og imødekommende og ydede hurtig hjælp, da en af AC anlæggene gik i stykker, Huset ligger med en fantastisk udsigt og vi vil til enhver tid anbefale dette hus.

La maison est chaleureuse et bien située dans un endroit calme malgré la proximité avec la route. Magnifique piscine avec beaucoup de verdure et de plantes. Le concierge a un humour limite.

Super semaine à Grasse dans la villa Caliopa. Une maison moderne super bien équipé sans vis à vis et au calme. Très bien accueilli par Christian qui tout au long de la semaine est présent pour nous et même pour nous donner des conseils de visites à effectuer ! Il nous met à l'aise et nous fait sentir comme chez nous. Je recommande !

Excellent séjour dans des conditions exceptionnelles : maison spacieuse, calme, bien équipée, notamment d'une salle de sport avec sauna et d'une belle cheminée pour de chaleureuses soirées d'hiver. L'accueil était impeccable. Nous recommandons !
