Initial impression was that the photographs in the listing made the property appear much brighter than it actually was.Our hosts were very helpful, in particular driving for over an hour to rescue us after we’d had a blowout on our hire car.
Very quiet neighborhood with supermarket and bakery within walking distance. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, even bringing us some DVDs! We really enjoyed our stay there.
Historical house with flair. The children loved the house as well as the adjourned donkey pasture. Whenever we had questions, the landlords helped us out!We can fully recommend it
Beautifully updated and lovingly maintained cottage for a perfect experience of rural France. Very close to two major towns (Pau and Bayonne) as well as multiple charming villages, it makes for an ideal location for exploring the foothills of Pyrénées. The owners, Shona and Ken, are very friendly and accommodating people, truly interested in the comfort of their guests. We strongly recommend the gîte, and hope to return there again soon.
La maison est charmante, dans un petit hameau très tranquille, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon sejour. Le jardin est très agreable. Les proprietaires ont été souples et très arrangeants pour l'heure du départ. Nous avons fait du rafting, à moins de 10 min de la maison. Un super we!! Merci et à une prochaine fois, nous espérons.
Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour dans cette maison bien restaurée, fonctionnelle et au calme. Hôte très accueillant et ânes très gentils!

Shona Ken are fantastic hosts. They are very welcoming and have lots of great suggestions for places to visit. The house is close to shops, restaurants, the snow and Spain.
