Cap d'Antibes, Villa art déco dans parc privé, accès à la plage à 10 mn à pied.

Location: good location for visiting Juan Le Pins (10 min walk), Antibes (20 min walk) and the local beaches (v busy in summer). On a gated estate which was reassuring. Access to Antibes and Salis Beach took longer to walk as could only get out of estate from one direction which was a bit frustraing.Villa: The villa was good. It was not luxurious and spaces such as the bathrooms and shower rooms were small and a bit old. There were only 4 of us so it was big enough but we agreed that if there were more than 6 it would be very cramped. The garage room had no windows. The kitchen was also small for more than 4, it was well equipped.The pool and the surrounding area was nice and generally quiet.Services: We were disappointed that we had to pay quite a lot of additional money on arrival to cover the cost of cleaning sheets. This is in small print on the website (which we had missed - be aware) and was only pointed out to us AFTER we had paid the full balance. It also had to be paid in cash on arrival.There was no cleaning during the stay. We had to strip the beds for collection mid-holiday and make our own beds. This is the first time we had experienced this which seemed odd for the price of the villa. Towels were tired. Pool was only cleaned once and got a bit grubby and gardener only came once during the second week so things started to look a bit scruffy.Overall, we had a very nice holiday but there are small things that could be improved to make it more pleasant.

Nous avons passé 15 jours de rêve, en famille, à la villa ! Emplacement très pratique pour aller à la plage et dans le centre tout en étant dans un environnement très calme. La maison est vraiment agréable et la literie de tout confort. Un grand merci à Marie et son mari pour votre accueil et votre disponibilité, nous avons réellement passé de très bonnes vacances ! What a wonderful visit. Marie the host was so helpful and gave us a warm and friendly welcome. The villa is incredibly well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The main bedrooms are light and spacious with plenty of storage and hanging space. The villa is near the heart of Juan Les Pins but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Make sure to note that the pool is not actually heated which would not be a problem in peak summer- we braved it a couple of days but the Med ( a 10 minute walk away) was much warmer at this time of year. All in all, a wonderful stay in a beautiful villa. 5 stars! Thank you Marie.

We loved Villa Rose de May. It was large, cool and spacious. The pool was excellent and the kitchen well appointed. Dishwasher, cooker and fridge-freezer were all modern and large. The ice and cold water dispenser on the freezer were so welcome! The garden wraps round the property which was very secure with electric vehicle gates on one side and a lockable pedestrian gate on the other - only downside was that there were a lot of mosquitos - bring your own repellant, it's very expensive in France:) -The house itself had an alarm and good locks on all doors. The pool was a good size and was used a lot. The manager's husband came twice during our stay to check and clean the pool - we were there for 10 days. The manager Marie was on hand at all times by phone for any queries. It is not far to the sea - about a 10 minute walk - but uphill on the way back and it was very hot during our stay, so we only went to the beach early in the day. A car would have been useful but we didn't have one, we eventually rented an electric scooter which was a godsend as we could then reach the supermarket (Casino) more easily - this was a 12 to 15 minute walk away. Overall we had a wonderful stay, our only slight disappointment was that we hadn't realised that the charge for the property didn't include a covid deep clean at the end - 200 euros and linen/towels/beach towels etc - 160 euros which seemed quite expensive and had to be given in either euros or a cheque on our arrival. However, this may have been in the details and I just missed it! We loved Villa Rose de May and would go back in a heartbeat!

We stayed at Villa Rose de May for 1 uke i July 2022 and had a wonderful time the house and the garden with pool is absolutely charming and beautyful !! A very short walking distance to the Beach is lovely private as well as public beaches with powder sand and crystal Blue sea. The village if Juan les pins is small and pritty with lots of Nice shows bars and restaurants . We loved it and want to come back

Beautiful villa with all you could ask for from a holiday location. Fully equipped and a lovely quiet location yet close to all amenities. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children and we all have agreed it was the best holiday location and villa we have stayed in. Marie, the host was very welcoming and made our stay just perfect. As we are regular visitors to Juan les Pins, we will return. Thank you Marie.

Wonderful property in a great location. The garden is beautiful with a sweet pool that's perfect for the weather. The house is well equipped and well kept. Walking distance to a nice local beach. Communication is easy and the host is very responsive. Highly recommend!!

Good place for a family, in quiet gated community, on Cap d’Antibes but within walking distance from sprawling Juan les Pins.
