CAPU BIANCU CENTRAL CORSICA NEAR THE ASCO GORGES NOT FAR FROM THE SEA

We had fantastic 3 days in this appartment. The owners are nice and helpful. We can only recommend to stay here.

A lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable apartment in a spectacular, off the beaten track area of Corsica. Stunning views, extremely quiet and a great base to explore the gorges for swimming and walking. Thank you!

Wir haben eine Woche zu viert als Familie in dieser Unterkunft gleich um die Ecke vom Asco-Tal verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Im Haus war alles, was man für den Alltag benötigt, vorhanden. Der Eigentümer Chris war sehr nett und hat uns sehr gute Tipps zum Erkunden der Gegend gegeben. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick in die Berge. Ab und zu kam auch eine Kuh vorbei ;-)

Die Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, ruhige Lage, grandiose Bergsicht, sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Im Haus gibt es noch drei weitere vermietete Wohnungen. Wir hatten die Südwestsicht. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren vorhanden und auch sonst alles notwendige. Wir wurden abgeholt, denn die Zufahrt ist ziemlich abgelegen. Der Eigentümer wohnt in der Nähe und hat immer wieder gefragt ob alles ok wäre. Wir haben die herrliche Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit genossen. Einkaufen kann man im SuperU in Ponte Leccia. Essen waren wir im nahegelegenen Camping Tizarella (Pizza ist ok). Sehr gut fanden wir auch das Restaurant Café Sport in Ponte Leccia (sehr lecker und faire Preise). Für Wanderungen im Ascotal , Monte Petrone, Ausflug an die Westküste z.B. Calvi war der Standort sehr gut.

Gîte au calme, face aux montagnes :les espaces extérieurs permettent de profiter pleinement de ce bel environnement. Gîte confortable et super accueil. Merci à Jean Charles pour tous les bons plans rando, baignade et resto.

Chris and Jean-charles are excellent, warm, friendly hosts who have put so much thought and effort into providing every comfort. The property is so well situated for swimming, walking, mountain-climbing and more whilst being an idyllic, tranquil retreat with a choice of outdoor seating areas to enjoy the views with a glass of Corsican wine. We loved it and heartily recommend it - it really is even better than the pictures. Thank you so much Chris and Jean-charles - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

We loved our stay here. We spent hours sitting on the terrace soaking up the views which, whether in morning sunlight, by sunset or moonlight, or in a spectacular storm, were endlessly absorbing. The walks and river swims in the Asco gorge nearby were fabulous, as were the trips further afield to St Florent, and the Restonica and Tavignano gorges. Chris and Jean-Charles are warm and helpful hosts, and they should be immensely proud of this beautifully constructed and stylishly decorated idyll that they have created from bare stones. Chapeau!
