We really enjoyed our week. Very tranquil and relaxing, and also a great base to enjoy heading over to Lille and Bruge as we did.

The property was perfect for us and perfect having a games room available to use,which we used every night. Great place to use as a base and travel out to various places.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made feel part of the family very good wifi. Many places to visit or shop. Easy to visit St Omer or the coast. Owners very kind and helpful. Roger and Cathy

This is a great place to stay. Ludovico is the new owner and he and his wife are so kind. We got past the language barrier pretty easily. My wife enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and I enjoyed doing the shopping, going to the nearby Aldi almost every day. We found really interesting day trips near St Omer and Dunkerque. Highly recommend this place. We hope to return.

Our time at the gite will leave us with lots of good memories. A very comfortable place so easy and quick to get to from Calais. It is a nice area and in easy reach too of the coast, Lille (an hour by train) and Bruges (an hour in the car) for instance. The nearby village has a much (by us) used bakery, and we enjoyed doing a set circular walk around. We enjoyed some table tennis in the games room too. Francoise a very good host/owner.

We arrived and were welcomed very friendly, despite we do not speak a single word French we managed to communicate pretty well using a translator app, smart move of the host. Inside there was a manual in English with full details of the apartment, which was very good, and things to do around. Many flyers and information of places to visit. We visited for 7 days and saw a lot of things, great natural parks to visit, but also many other things close by, our kid of 2 years especially liked the Bal Parc, we visited it twice. Its a kid heaven from 2 to say 10 years. Many historical sites and especially Watten is a nice town to eat and visit. Thank you for such a great time! We fully recommend this.

We enjoyed our stay in this well equiped Gite, we found a Aldi & Lidl supermarket near by. Had some nice days out visiting near by towns and villages. Sadly T.V was all in French & no outside light to keep on in the evenings only light sensor. We went at the end of the season so sadly the weather was colder than expected and no other visitors to talk to in the other gites joined. Had to leave earlier than expected due to family commitments. Thank you.

We stayed here same time last year and really enjoyed it so we returned again this time with two family members, as usual the owners Francise and Fransoise were very friendly and welcoming. .highly recommend
