😊: The location was excellent, just a one-minute walk from the shore. The terrace was huge and had a private swimming pool. Dining on the terrace with sea views was one of the best parts of our stay. The living room and kitchen were quite spacious. There is a small grocery store right below the apartment, as well as a pizza food truck. The apartment also has a dishwasher. Parking is possible either directly in front of the building (best in the late afternoon or early morning, otherwise it fills up quickly) or in the nearby public parking.. 😢: Several parts of the house are quite old. Both entrance doors open and close very poorly. The washing machine was difficult to start because it constantly detected that the door was not properly closed. The floors were dirty (we usually walk barefoot, and on the first day our feet were completely black). The beds were not very comfortable (spring mattresses), and the baby cot was not ready when we arrived; it was quite old, although the mattress was more or less acceptable. The most unpleasant issue was the mold we found in the shower room as well as inside the air-conditioning units. This produced a bad smell and prevented us from using the air conditioning during our stay. We received several complaints from the food truck and the shop below (and from the owner) because our children were splashing “too much” and some water was dripping onto the street. The pool is located in the corner of the terrace, so unless you have very quiet children, you can expect complaints. We parked on the street in front of the apartment, and the next day our car was covered in sticky resin and dirt. Finally, the owner entered without knocking at least a couple of times, which felt rather invasive..

😊: There are only two things good about this property - the location and the size of the kitchen. The apartment is based very close to the beach (you just need to cross the road). And the kitchen size is great, spacious with an island in the middle to accommodate the whole family during the meal times.. 😢: The problems started almost immediately. Despite my emails a week prior to arrival asking how to locate the keys on the day of arrival, the owner wasn't responding. On the day of the arrival, 3 minutes before we reached the apartment (and was a heavy rain and we traveled with two small children - very stressful), finally the message pops up "Have you arrived?" from the owner. Apparently she sent her neighbour to give us the keys. We waited at the shop downstairs for some time for her to arrive. Ideally I would prefer to know how to pick up the keys a day or so in advance, so it's stress-free. However, it's only the beginning. We arrived to the property and the hallway was flooded, c. 5cm water. There was a major leak in one of the bedrooms and in the sitting room. Despite my messages via booking.com the owner wasn't responding, so I went to the neighbour. She called some maintenance guy, who arrived, but couldn't fix the problems. Half of the lights weren't working in the property, while the lights in the hallway are permanently broken and not switching off. Again despite me trying to contact the owner, no response. I asked her to refund our stay as we would move to the hotel, no response. In addition, I have to mention the stairs leading to the property - long and narrow without the rails! Very dangerous for the elderly or children. My 5 year old fell on the 3rd day. In terms of the furniture - there are two beds, both very uncomfortable with an old bedding on them (some bedding has holes in). The white leatherette sofa in the sitting room is peeling off every time you touch it. Currently I am claiming via buyer protection guarantee my money back as the property should not be rented out. It's against health & safety and also no management. I am also pushing for Booking.com to take it off their website..
