😊: Everything, and particularly the pool (shared with owners) and the wonderful views from the huge garden.. 😢: Cleanliness needs attention. After booking we were told cleaning has to be done by the occupants or you are charged €40 “as an option” which seems outrageous and should be clear before booking. Cleaning equipment old, dirty and smelly. Also provided with only 1/2 wc roll at arrival..

😊: It was an emergency booking for us so we had no idea what to expect. However, we were delighted by the cleanliness, the quiet atmosphere and the proximity to Monflanquin. A beautiful village worth seeing. We’ve been in the area many times and spent 3 x more for houses less comfortable. If you’re looking for an authentic house, not contrived, without breaking the bank….

😊: Beautiful traditional stone cottage full of character and charm with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen. Incredibly kind and generous hosts who live in the house next door, very nice people, always available and helpful but not at all invasive, who left me a box of chocolates wrapped up for my birthday - so nice. My dog was welcome. Silent at night, comfortable bed, shutters. Huge field out the back and in a countryside setting. (Didn’t use the pool as my stay was in winter.) Log fire, central heating (and extra heaters just in case), bathtub as well as shower. Comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi. Supermarkets 15-20 mins drive, and plenty of superb chateaux in reasonable driving distance. Would stay again.. 😢: Although it was perfectly clean enough for my stay, it would probably benefit from a deep clean..
