😢: Unfortunately, our experience with this apartment was extremely disappointing. While it’s located in Bordeaux’s Old Town and within walking distance of many attractions, the surrounding area did not feel safe or welcoming. There were often unsavoury characters around, and many of the streets had a very strong smell of urine, which made walking around unpleasant. The apartment itself was unbearably hot. There was no air conditioning, and although two small fans were provided, they made little to no difference in the oppressive summer heat. The apartment retained so much heat that it was almost impossible to sleep or relax after a day of sightseeing. There were also several maintenance issues that added to our frustration. The shower did not drain properly, causing water to pool around our feet, the washing machine wasn’t working, and the bed was extremely low and appeared to be broken, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The combination of the unbearable heat, non-functioning amenities, and the surrounding environment meant we simply couldn’t continue our stay. We ultimately forfeited the remainder of our booking and checked into a hotel with air conditioning just to escape the heat and get a decent night’s sleep. Sadly, we would not stay here again or recommend this property..

😊: Fabulous location in the heart of the St Michel area, 2 seconds from Porte de Bourgogne tram stop, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Instructions clear and easy to follow.. 😢: You have to walk the gauntlet of the Salon de the clientele, which feels a bit uncomfortable...

😊: Central perfect for a couple or a couple with a child.

😊: Location, big bedroom and separated from the living room, great bathroom and shower. They lend me a bed for my baby.. 😢: I missed a dining table in the living room and it was a problem to not have an elevator, since I was carrying a stroller for a baby. It was a 2nd floor..

😊: The apartment was spotless. Everything you need was there. Good communication from the host, even though we never met. Lovely white bed linen and towels. Nice and warm as central heating was on automatic. Quite close to all amenities and the stone bridge. Good WiFi.. 😢: The bed was very low and very difficult for my husband to get in and out of. The occupants upstairs were very noisy. I don't think they were doing anything wrong, just very little sound proofing, but not great at 2-3 am. The street where the apartment was on was filthy, out of the control of the owner, I know, but it was covered in rubbish, it smelt of urine and we even saw a rat. Luckily we were up 2 floors and the apartment was spotless..
