We spent a wonderful week here this summer with our two young children. The location of the cabin is excellent, with a descent super market in the village, petrol station, golf club and a few bars. There are many beautiful villages within 20 minutes drive with restaurants and bars. 10 mins drive is a lovely lake which we swam in as well as hired a kayak, perfect when the temperature was 30 degrees! Also there’s a climbing/forest activity which we spent the whole day at less than 10 minutes away and a nature park (with swimming pool) within 25 minutes drive. We visited the local castle and spent time at a local equestrian event. Our children had a fabulous time as we ate a bbq dinner on the terrace every night together. The cabin is compact with a small kitchen (but well equipped) and there’s a washing machine and lounge area with heated stove. Essentially it’s like staying in a static caravan, it was well priced and has a big garden for the kids to play in. Beatrice was the most responsive host, replying quickly to any message and ahead of our trip sending details of places to visit. An absolute delight to deal with. So if you want a holiday where you get back to nature, that is low budget and fun for al the family we highly recommend.
