CHALET À VINS DE LUXE ET GRANGE À BARILS, Canal du Midi

The wine cottage was the perfect home base for our stay in the south of France and exploring the rich history of the area. The cottage is just as advertised with two quiet bedrooms, two full baths, two full kitchens and plenty of space to relax (all fully air conditioned). The outdoor space with pool was ideal for sipping wine after our many day trips. Groceries were just a short car ride away from either Homps or Lezignan-Corbieres. After taking the train from Paris to Narbonne and picking up our rental car, we were met at the cottage by the property manager who showed us the ins and outs and offered helpful insight of the area. Twice we dined at the local restaurant along the Canal du Midi and had a great experience. From our home base we explored the quaint villages of Minerve and Lagrasse, the many Cathar castle ruins, Grotte de Limousis (cave), the walled Cite de Carcassonne, Pont du Gard, the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea and were able to observe the harvesting of the grapes in early September. The wine cottage has all the amenities one needs for a relaxing vacation and I would highly recommend it for two couples or a family.

Charmante demeure où tout a été pensé : les capsules Nespresso, le gel douche mais convient aux personnes qui souhaitent vraiment être coupées de tout. Le village est ultra calme, il n’y a pas de téléviseur et le premier supermarché est a plusieurs kms.

on a passé un agréable séjour dans le petit charme , rien ne manque , l'aménagement est parfait , la Propriétaire est aux petits soins pour ces hôtes , on s' y sent bien , c'est spacieux et au calme , merci à Paula . Sylvie et Christophe K

Un vieille maison de village restaurée avec beaucoup d'idée et de goût, des équipements parfaits, tout a été bien pensé pour un accueil et un séjour très sympathiques ! Dans un village un peu en dehors du temps, mais au milieu d'une jolie région riche en découvertes. De beaux souvenirs en réserve.....!!!
