Chalet avec vue panoramique

😊: We did not end up staying here. But paid for other accommodation. While inside the residence was clean (if musty and unused) the overall property was chaos, see below.. 😢: This place felt abandoned and had no street number or way of identification. It was extremely isolated on the edge of town up a long driveway with a front gate locked with two old bike locks. The mail box was full of mail and the shutters were shut. The owner did not respond to either a phone call or a text. An email was sent to me half an hour before we were expected to arrive telling us to climb around a concrete pillar to access the key. There were three old cars in the garden, two of which were wrecks. The outside of the ground floor was full of building rubble. Our residence was on the first floor, inside of which was dark and musty with all the kitchen chairs on the table. It had clearly not been used for a long time. We did not feel comfortable staying here (despite having paid in full) and chose to pay for alternative accommodation. This place should not be on the booking.com website..
