Chalet bois Munster in Alsace close to shops-tourism-Colmar

The chalet is really nice. But you should not come with 5 persons, that's too small. Madame is kind and supportive. But the shower is very fragile. The kitchen has full working equipment, except there were no covers for the pots. For the beds: If you bring your own bed stuff: Be aware that the beds for 2 persons have a single matresse with 1.4m and also a single cover with 1.4m. The chalet is really in the center of the town. But it is very quiet, no noise from the streets or neighbourhood. The TV has only french channels, but you can have a laptop connected via HDMI. The staircase to the upper rommes is steep. Everything is tidy and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The chalet is located in a very small but nice town 20 minutes away from Colmar. Most Christmas markets and, beautiful towns are at a short driving distance. The place is very quiet and next to a small river. Ideal for relaxing holidays away from the city. Not appropriate for toddlers and small children as there is a very steep stairs to the up bedrooms.

Accommodation was pleasant and comfortable enough apart from the bed (mattress) - Area is surprisingly quiet, being so close to the town centre - Ideally located as a base for little or day excursions (parking nearby very safe and easy) - Quite a few restaurants and amenities located very near, but beware of opening times (Mondays most restaurants are closed) - Very friendly and helpful hostess/owner - We would like to suggest: please install a small kettle (to save from having to boil water on the hob) as not every guest will use the coffee-machine - Also, could the 50 euro optional charge (for cleaning the chalet) be advertised or announced more clearly in the booking, as we preferred to do a little cleaning ourselves (it was not too much but required a bit more time/organisation) ?

You can't reach the house by car (luggage). The house was between other houses.. So it looked like you were having your holiday in someone elses backyard. I think the house is way too small for 5 persons. But the house was cozy and the equipment was very well.
