Chalet Clairvaux

The chalet is a great size for a family or two and the location is perfect for access to the Ardent lift.

😊: Really spacious chalet. All the rooms have enauites and there is a second living room upstairs. Also there was a washing machine and tumble dryer. We went in winter and there are regular free buses. It's really quick to ski from Ardent. A bus stops every hour about 5 mins walk away. The skiing from Ardent is brilliant as it is a short lift from Avoriaz. The apres ski bar and ski rentals are Ardent made it really easy.. 😢: Luckily one of the families had a car as the rubbish drop off is a car journey away..

Fabulous location for a summer...<br>#128578; Well equipped chalet with beautiful views down the valley to Montriond. A short walk (quite steep) through woodland alongside the river up to Lac Montriond which was great for swimming. There is a natural swimming pool as part of the lake which has lifeguards during day, fun mini-golf course and restaurants. Chalet has a big balcony for eating out and lots of indoor space for meals or chilling out with a good book. Multi-pass is good for summer to get access to lots of free stuff and discounts. ...<br>#128577; The BBQ needs a bit of attention as its a bit wobbly but it worked fine! Would be good to advertise that mid July Morzine and Avoriaz host Harley Days which is a gathering of 10,000 Harley Davidsons! We didn't mind as they added a spectacle to the holiday but those who don't like the noise of motorbikes echoing up the valleys or the site of gleaming chrome may be best to pick a different week. Its also busier in Morzine this week.

L'abbeye St Jean d'Aulps is lovely. For more adventure (and a birds eye view of the Abbey) try the Tete d'Elephant via Ferrata - rent the kit you need in Montriond. We also did a fabulous but strenuous hike up Pointe de Nanteux from the chalet - glorious views from the top, lots of butterflies and wildflowers and soaring eagles (? Fijn, goed ingericht chalet met...<br>#128578; Mooi chalet, mooie, ruime en gezellige woon/eetkamer, ruime slaapkamers met douche/toilet, ruime parkeergelegenheid. Eettafel is groot genoeg voor 14 man. Mooi open haard die het goed deed. Ruime skilocker met schoenverwarming. Afstand tot skilift met toegang tot het hele Portes du Soleil gebied is 5 minuten per auto. Mooie plek voor diverse wandelingen.<br>#128577; Koken voor 14 man is best een uitdaging. Kookplaat heeft 4 pitjes en is wat onhandig in gebruik, keramische plaat met onhandige bediening, niet genoeg ruimte voor grote pannen. De woning is gehorig. Als je met normaal volume praat kan het in de naastgelegen slaapkamer goed verstaan worden. Ook kan je in de slaapkamers boven horen wat er in de woon/eetkamer besproken wordt.

Nous avons passez d'excellentes vacances et avons beaucoup apprécié le chalet très spacieux et très bien positionné pour l’accès aux pistes. Merci également pour Morzine immobilier qui à su rester à l'écoute de nos réclamations.

Excellentes vacances dans ce grand et beau chalet très fonctionnel avec de l’espace dedans comme dehors, tout près du magnifique lac de Montriond .
