CHALET CLAUDETTE

😊: The property was in a good location and the kitchen was well stocked.. 😢: The beds are very small. The bathroom and WC room would both benefit from being modernised. The greatest disappointment was the service. As we were arriving early we asked to drop our bags off. We were told that was not possible. We were also told that an early check in was not possible. We were sent a link to a pub that offers a bag storage service, but they are at the bottom of town and €10/bag. We had 6 bags and a pair of skis. 4 hours later we found a taxi to deliver the bags up to the chalet. More time and expense. When collecting the keys from the office (not the chalet) I was given a number to the key box back at the chalet. Why didn’t they just send me the key box number or meet me at the chalet. A staff member told me that I could leave our bags at the office on our return day but would have to get our bags to the office at 10, across town. We were travelling with 3 children so all of the above was even more difficult and frustrating. The cleaners arrived just after 10 as we were leaving so presumably the chalet was also cleaned at 10 on our arrival day. Why could we not leave our bags at the empty chalet on our arrival. We ski every year and when arriving early, they always offer a place to drop the bags. In addition we were sent an email saying we would be charged a minimum of €50 if we left any rubbish at the chalet. There were no spare bin bags and nowhere to put the rubbish. I had to walk into town to buy bags..

😊: Fabulous property in an unreal location. Would be great for a family.. 😢: Having to strip down the beds and walk 200m to drop your rubbish off is a little annoying. After that nothing to complain about the accommodation..
