Chalet cosy en Aubrac

😊: The location is perfect for a peaceful stay and for exploring the Aubrac. There are many interesting places to visit nearby.. 😢: The tiny house prioritises design over functionality. Several practical details could be improved: the blackout curtains are installed the wrong way around, there is only one window for ventilation and it cannot be fully opened, the coffee machine was provided without compatible capsules, and some outdoor equipment (such as the parasols) was not in the best condition or practical to use. There is also no Wi-Fi, and mobile reception is only moderate. The chalet is located directly on the Camino de Santiago, so hikers pass by regularly, which may not suit guests looking for more privacy, although this was not an issue for us..

😊: Le cadre: bel environnement, proche des commerces et des départs de randonnées, calme. Le chalet: bien décoré, pratique et confortable. Communication avec l’hôte: accès plus tôt que prévu au chalet et réactivité aux messages de l’hôte..

😊: Good facilities, 5 minutes walk to the town, the cabin was very warm, it has the tv, everything was very cute, clean and tidy. Amazing walks all around the property. 😢: No internet, no signal and no WiFi, nowhere to hang our coats or keeps our shoes (which we are obligated to take off). The thermostat was set extremely high when we got there and the AC was on which kind of gave us a headache. We were very close to other houses and cabins I wasn’t expecting it. Also, the arrival and departure time (4pm-11am) felt very short, we didn’t get a full 24h, and seeing that I paid 145 for 1 night with a dog, I have to say I’m slightly disappointed. I talked with the owner which was very nice though, and explained that it was because they have other clients coming to stay that night. Still, the price was relatively high, I don’t know if I’ll go back..
