Chalet de l'Ours Brun

😊: Please note that we stayed here for the last week of October, 2 people, 5 nights. Advantages: there are quite not bad kitchen tools such as raclette-crepe device, blender and they are not mentioned in the description. You do not need to take the car in order to start the hike from this house! It is a magnificent hiking path with almost no hikers. The place is calm, you do not hear any cars passing, however neighbours are quite close and they can easily see the inside of the house - I would suggest daytime curtains as there are only opaque white curtains. The owners are responsive in very short time - thank you for this!. 😢: The biggest disadvantage is cleanliness and its organisation. Please note that you are paying money for cleaning but you still have to clean certain things YOURSELF. E. g. they very strict with recycling here - you can even get a fine. Glass containers are further way then recycling containers. However, at the house there is only one and big trash-bin so my question is how do you recycle if you do not have conditions for that? ATTENTION! I had awful experience with dishwasher as they DO NOT provide dishwasher capsules (I thought that they forgot to fill in the capsule box as I found one but it was empty). That was a nice surprise one day before leaving when I had to wash all the sticky dishes that were left in the dishwasher. I contacted the owner and suggested mentioning this before people book this place. The owner replied that they provide the sponge with dishwashing soap - you can see in the picture the state of that sponge which was used for at least one month and looks awfully dirty and overused. There are many many flies, I would suggest setting up the house with mosquito nets instead of one lamp that is useful only when it is dark and consuming electricity. The towels are in the very poor state, with some of it I would clean the floor and not my body. The bathroom has awful canalisation odour. The shower is half broken and not clean - there was hair and orange debris. I think with this cleanliness state you could easily get nail fungus… There was 5 drops of hand soap for 5 nights… and the soap is the same as the dishwash soap:))) there is BBQ but no coal or at least wood for it. I suggest mentioning this for your next visitors!!!! We had only one AND HALF USED roll of toilet paper for 5 nights, WE HAD TO BUY OUR OWN!.

Nous sommes restés 1 semaine. Le chalet est très agréable à vivre et bien équipé.
