Luxurious, quirky accommodation, clean, centrally located on Mont Chery, with a super view over the Chavannes chair lift and the bike park

The house is actually split in two. We had the side for up to 12 people. We never heard a sound from the other side at all. The house is stunning and it is just a short walk uphill from the centre of Les Gets. The views were unbelievable. We were there in July 2022 when it was lovely and warm and sunny. I must admit that the bedrooms were very hot at night. In the local area there is a multi-pass system where you can buy a pass to use over several days on chairlifts, buses and lots of other attractions. We have used this each time we have been to Les Gets before. It is important to say that lots of homeowners subscribe to the scheme so the pass is very cheap for each day. However, our owner did not do this, so it cost us about 10 euros per person extra each day. You would just need to be aware, as over 2 weeks this was quite a chunk of money for the 5 of us that travelled. It probably cost us an extra £400. Great holiday though.

Chalet agréable, fonctionnel, bien situé avec une belle vue sur les pistes.

Das Objekt liegt perfekt im Hang mit super Blick über das Tal und gleichzeitig sehr nah zum Lift(Bikepark). Es ist sehr gut geschnitten über 3 ebenen mit Garage und Waschraum und auch als Familien plus Freunde kann man es sehr gut aushalten. Manko für mich ist etwas die Sauberkeit. Wenn tote Fliegen auf dem Boden liegen und auf der Kelle in der Küche noch Fettspritzer sind als Beispiel, macht das für mich Abzüge genauso wie einen Spülmaschinen-Tab als ganze Reserve bei dem Preis. Wenn man nach Les Gets möchte( wir waren das erste Mal da) ist das Haus sicher eine gute Option, allerdings auch sehr hochpreisig.

Le Grand Canyon 1 is a truly beautiful chalet in central Les Gets, next to the Mont Chery lift and close enough to have the convenience of a short walk to Front Du Neige lifts, ski school and all the shops and restaurants. The chalet is elevated to provide breathtaking views of the mountains and just far enough away from the main streets to feel special. The chalet has been decorated to a luxurious standard and has everything any family could want during a stay - the floor plan is well thought out with an L shaped open plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge and the WiFi and cozy mezzanine TV Room took care of the kids when they weren’t on the slopes. Owner Sylvie and her son were very responsive and helpful once we arrived, and quickly resolved any small issues and questions we had. The one surprise is that Le Grand Canyon is actually 2 chalets in one, so we were confused to come back from a shopping trip on day one to find someone unpacking suitcases outside(!) The main front door serves both chalets with internal secured doors leading to each chalet. Due to this, be aware that the garage and sauna are therefore shared, but otherwise we would never have known another family were staying in the same building. Overall, I can thoroughly recommend Le Grand Canyon for a luxurious retreat in Les Gets and look forward to returning next year I hope!
