Breathtaking scenery, perfect chalet and friendly and helpful hosts. Despite the hairpin bends and the long drive up to Bisanne 1500, once you get there, you will not regret one metre of it! The path down to the chalet presents arriving guests with one of (if not) the most spectacular view(s) they will ever have in a holiday home. Mr & Mrs Cahour are very friendly, very welcoming and happy to give tips for hikes or outings in the surrounding region. The chalet itself has all the amenities required for a holiday in the Alps, including lots of local information and games for families and groups of friends.

I travelled from the US to spend one week in the beautiful region of Beaufortain. Best place for RC gliders, combining treks in the morning and gliding in the afternoon. Landscape is just magic, different every year. The house is very clean, you have everything you need and French bakeries are just a few minutes from that place. François and his wife are charming people, who will teach you the beautiful things and paths of that region. My only regret: it was far too short.
