Chalet Dufour

😊: This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as good as the last time. The chalet has everything you need and it is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to Prodains We arrived a little early and the chalet was ready for us which was excellent, as it meant we could leave our belongings and head up to Avoriaz for afternoon skiing.. 😢: N/A.

😊: Really charming wee place. Much better than the pictures suggest. Very well equipped. Wam and cosy. Karen was exceptionally helpful. Free shuttle bus was an added bonus.. 😢: No shop or bakery in the area..

😊: Very small chalet suitable for a couple or one person. The bed was super comfy, and the chalet was spotless. The location is excellent to get up to Avoriaz. 5-7min walk to the Prodains express. If you can ski reds, it's pretty much ski to door, if not take the goldola back down. Very quiet. Would definitely recommend. You can get a shuttle bus into Morzine which takes about 15-20min.. 😢: No ski storage, but we just put our stuff in the shower cubicle. Probably safe enough to leave outside on the balcony, but we chose not to. If it snows and there is freeze thaw conditions, the path leading up to the stairs is very slippery. Not easy when you are trying to get luggage down. No shops in the vicinity, for groceries, you need to go into Avoriaz or Morzine Town Centre.
