😢: Disappointing stay - would not recommend We stayed at this property in July 2025 and unfortunately had several issues that made the experience underwhelming. Pros: * Scenic Alpine location Cons: * Broken light in downstairs bathroom - Reported to Mountain Collection who agreed to send a technician. No one arrived, and the light remained broken for the duration of our stay. When returning the keys, the receptionist claimed the technician must have “missed our apartment.” * Stained bed sheets - These were paid for as part of a linen package. When we raised the issue, Mountain Collection said they had no replacement double bed sheets available and offered no resolution. * Hidden charges - Extra costs for bed linen and towels were not clearly communicated upfront, nor stated in the Booking.com listing. * Musty, stale smell throughout the property - Particularly bad in the kitchen, where it seemed like something had spilled in a cupboard and was never properly cleaned. * Cramped toilet room - So small that your head nearly touches the door when seated. * Broken kitchen cupboard door magnet - Wouldn’t stay closed. * No basic kitchen supplies - No washing up liquid, cooking oil, or other essentials typically provided in self-catered accommodations. Overall verdict:
This property did not meet expectations, and the lack of basic cleanliness and poor customer service were particularly disappointing. I would advise finding alternative accommodation for your trip to the Alps..
