Chalet King's Hame

Great stay for 3 families of teenagers, enough space for the 14 of us (not suitable for toddlers to stay on very top floor due to steep stairs). A cosy homely feel, really warm with comfy beds and handy having so many ensuites. We enjoyed the location - quiet and only 5 mins walk to the centre via a shortcut. A 15 minute walk to the Chaudanne lifts - as we parked at Rhodos, we stored our skis in the car so didn't have to carry them each day. You can get the bus (stop really close) but we chose to walk as we were a large group and it was the busy February school holidays. Well equipped kitchen and we could all fit around the table to eat together. Handy to have a washing machine and tumble dryer. No TV so download some films if you need to entertain the kids - the wifi wasn't strong enough to stream - we didn't miss the TV though. The hosts, Fabrice and Raphael, from CVR are always on hand if needed - they reply really quickly to any questions. All in all, a fabulous stay and we'd love to stay again!

We loved our stay at King’s Hame Chalet. The location, the quality and comfort of the chalet is incredible. A number of rooms have great jacuzzi baths and others have showers. The fire makes relaxing in the evening a dream and the balcony has a great view. The ski bus stops just below the drive of the chalet (Le Cleman stop on the Ligne C bus) or a short walk into town. Will definitely be back!
