Chalet Morzine, 6 pièces, 10 personnes - FR-1-627-18

We stayed in Chalet Morzine for our kids' Feb half term in 2023. The house was incredible. Our kids are ages 6 through 8 and we had friends with similar aged kids nearby. Because of its proximity to a nice sledding hill and a palma lift that made accessing the Super Morzine a breeze, the Chalet became home base for the week. When we got back from skiing (skied directly to the front gate) the kids continued to play outside in the snow, building jumps for their sleds and doing laps on the palma lift until it stopped at 4pm. In the evening we booked a chef (Mike from Voilaprivatechef.com). He and his partner took amazing care of us. Mike cooked separate meals for the kids and ensured no adult left hungry. We ate out at Le Grange one night, but honestly it was better to eat Mike's food at home. A few notes for prospective renters: The garage is a fabulous boot and ski room; loads of space and a boot heater, but you can't park inside it. You actually don't need a car as everything is walk-able from the chalet. The upstairs bedrooms are great for kids. The ceiling may be low for adults for a week. Living space is on the middle floor and includes a nice bedroom with ensuite. Downstairs are two very large bedrooms with ensuite showers, but they share a toilet in the hall. I think this was the best chalet we've found in four trips to Morzine. We will definitely rent it if we come back. Only sad note was the lack of snow.
