Chalet Phoenix

The property has plenty of spaces and is fully equipped for log stays. It is located centrally between many attractive locations. However, although the owner tried to help us, shower water was cold and hardly warm for one or two showers. One more challenge was that there is no sound insulation whatsoever. If someone in the basement is talking, people in the top floor will hear.

Perfectly located in the village, close to the gondola. The chalet is cosy with a nice fireplace.

April 2017 - Spent time relaxing with friends at this first class Chalet. Fixtures and fittings of a high standard, plenty of room for socialising and bedroom/bathroom facilities really good. Ideally situated in quiet part of the village. Just 5 minute walk to the slopes and the bars/restaurants. Beautiful views over the valley Wish I could have stayed for longer - one of the best I have stayed at over the last 30 years of skiing.

We stayed in this excellent chalet with a group of 8 friends. Very authentic feel, cosy bedrooms and wonderful living room with a cosy fire place and a good kitchen. The sauna is a great plus! The walk to the skilift is under 5 mins. Montalbert is a lovely tiny village with a great boulangier, butcher and supermarket. Highly recommended!
