The property exceeded our expectations! We were a group of 19 (9 adults & 10 children ranging from 1 to 11 years old). There was plenty of room, the layout worked well for us, with the courtyard in the centre you're close to all living areas. The main building has 5 bedrooms, the 2nd building has 2 bedrooms, & 3rd building has 4 bedrooms - each is well equipped with kitchen & living space. The swimming pool was perfect for all ages & the party room was a bonus! All situated in a picturesque area, the village is walkable & has a couple of boulangeries, an intermarche was a 5 minute drive (or 20 minutes walk), there are some great woodland walks on the doorstep, & numerous chateaus within close reach. Highly recommend!

Our family rented Alain’s property in Mont-pres-chambord, and overall we had a wonderful time. The location and accommodations were fantastic, and the kids spent hours having fun in the pool. I would love to recommend this property to any large group wishing to spend time in the Loire valley. However, we had significant issues during check in and check out that sadly soured our experience. During check in, we were forced to leave a large damage deposit outside of the VRBO platform. We noted any pre existing damage and sent evidence to Alain. However, during check out, we were told that a large portion of the damage deposit was going to be held back due to things like broken bed slats (many were missing on arrival, and others clearly weakened due to age or regular wear-and-tear - nobody jumped on the bed). The largest amount of damage claimed by Alain was for a curtain rod that was not fully attached to the wall, but this was clearly something that had happened before, given the pre-existing holes and non-matching screws without any drywall plugs. We did have a misunderstanding about check-in time, as my flight delayed. They refused to take my cc info over for the 5k deposit, which ment my elderly uncle had used their card, as he was the first on site. This added to the frustration from the start and put us all on edge for the week. While the property was lovely, these issues with the deposit left a negative impression on our otherwise enjoyable stay.

We just came back from an amazing 2 week stay at the house in Mont-pres-Chambord. We’re a large family of 29 people in age from 1-81 years. We have had some fantastic settings for our holiday being such a big family. All the facilities have been faultless and there has been everything you have needed. In particular, we would like to highlight the communication with the lessor of the land, Alain, which has been absolutely outstanding on several occasions during the stay. He has responded within very few minutes or showed up to help us. The descriptions on the website have lived up to all expectations, except for the amount that had to be paid in deposit which was somewhat larger than expected full. However, a solution was quickly found for this with the company who were very cooperative. Overall, these settings have been absolutely ideal for a large family for a holiday which we will remember with great joy.

We were a large group of adults, young kids, and babies. This property was spacious and well-stocked for us to enjoy our time reconnecting over meals and enjoying the outdoor spaces. The pool was wonderful, the beds and bathrooms plentiful, and we loved spending the evenings together in the courtyard area.

Everybody in the group loved it. Lovely property, loads of space, great outdoor eating area, super pool and very convenient local shops. Helpful and responsive owner and agency staff. Everything we needed and more!

We stayed in the house for a weekend and we were 30 for a getaway weekend. The house is perfect. It has everything for cooking, nice outside area, a pool in construction and even a room where to put music and dance!!! Looking forward for our next stay! Mercì Alan
