My husband and I loved this quaint place to stay while we visited Nice. The owners of the apartment were such accommodating and lovely people that went over and above to make sure that we were comfortable and they served such delicious breakfasts for us each day. We loved being able to relax by the pool and swim in it each afternoon, while enjoying a glass of wine and an appetizer poolside. We would absolutely stay here again!

It was nice to escape the busyness of Nice and be in a place surrounded by plants and calmness. Our hosts were lovely and helpful and we enjoyed trying to chat with them in various different languages.

This property had a comfortable bed, and was clean and safe. The breakfasts provided by Bernard and Anne-Marie were quite pleasant. They were helpful in providing advice about how to get to various tourist sites in the area. The place was a bit tricky to find, but with a GPS it is not really a problem. I would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at LA CHAMBRE D'HÔTE. The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained and provided everything we needed. It was beautiful inside and out. The rooms were spacious with a super bed and shower. The garden was lovely, with a hidden seating area, beneath trees, providing shade when required. The chairs, tables and sunloungers provided were clean and well looked after. The pool was stunning and beautifully warm and big enough for those wishing to use it for exercise. It was lovely to see the sea from the garden. Our hosts were delightful providing helpful information when required, but never imposing on us. At our invitation, we enjoyed 2 evenings with them sharing drinks and chatter and learning more about the area and the local transport. The breakfast they provided was divine. Everything is laid out on the terrace and included Yoghurts, Juice, Coffee, Croissants, Fresh Bread, Butter, Jams and sometimes Melon, Parma Ham or Cheese. Anne-Marie and Bernard took huge delight in pleasing us and taking that extra bit of care with everything. We had a Hire Car from the airport, but it is possible to reach the property via tram and bus from the airport. The no. 34 bus stops right outside the house and takes you to the seafront, from where buses and trams can take you wherever you wish to go. We walked into Old Nice, again accessible via public transport and enjoyed the market, shops and restaurants. I cannot praise this venue highly enough.

This was an excellent property with wonderful hosts. It was a beautiful guest room on the side of the main house, but you have privacy to yourself, with bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. The pool is wonderful, and the hosts gave an excellent fresh breakfast each morning to eat on the pool side deck. Easy find and location, would totally recommend this place. You will want a car however as it is up a winding hill that would be difficult to visit other places without a car.

Our hosts were impeccable, the breakfast of fresh breads, pastries, jams, eggs served at our time of choice poolside was a delightful way to start the day. A short easy to navigate drive to the Promenade and Old Town made sightseeing a breeze. My husband a cyclist found Bernard also an avid cyclist who willingly took him for a scenic journey above Monaco and Menton for which we are very grateful. We will 100% return to stay here and recommend to all our family, friends and travellers.

the hosts were friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Comfortable bed. There were many tiled steps around the property and 2 steps to the kitchen/bathroom. We are both in our late 70's and my wife has mobility problems and struggled. Lovely breakfasts. No near-by bars or shops so a car essential. No tv or radio. Lovely swimming pool and garden. Not suitable for wheelchairs or people with walking difficulties.

We had a fantastic stay here! The house and garden with pool are very idyllic and beautiful. The neighbourhood is very quiet and relaxing. The hosts are the sweetest couple who really took their time to ask what we were planning to do and ask what we did on the day. The breakfast every morning was served by the poolside and was very good.
