Charentais country house with private pool in the heart of the vineyards

The property was excellent giving everything advertised. Lovely pool and the things left in the kitchen made arrival so much easier. Property was clean and facilities good We had two dogs with us and the secure garden allowed us peace of mind. Nice boat next door

It was charming and welcoming, among fields and vines, next to a wood with pleasant walks. The swimming pool was much welcomed and used. Inside and outside comfortable tables, chairs and seats. Well stocked and easy to use kitchen and barbecue areas. Comfortable bedrooms with plenty of bedding, storage and fans if needed.

We really enjoyed our 3-week stay at this lovely home. The location is very quiet, which was perfect for us. The house is halfway between Pons and Jonzac which again was perfect for us. We spent time in both of these towns plus Saintes and Royan on the coast which was just under an hour away.House was well equipped and a real home from home.The hosts (Florence and Jerome) were very good to deal with and always responded quickly to our messages.All-in-all, we had a really lovely holiday!

Superb location for dog walks, good restsurants in the area, some within a good walking distance. We made good use of the enclosed pool and the ping pong table. Good enclosed garden for the fog. Fully equipped house.Would definately stsy again if we were in this area
