Agradable estancia en Bayeux<br>#128578; El piso está estupendo, es un edificio antiguo, muy bonito. La ubicación excelente, con un parking enfrente y otro a 5 minutos andando gratuito. El anfitrión muy amable. Es importante saber que hay escaleras para subir al piso, así que recomiendo llevar maleta pequeña o mediana y una buena forma física :) Las escaleras son parte del encanto del edificio, ya que son de la época. La localización es muy buena, ya que está cerca de numerosos sitios de interés, Bayeux y su tapiz entre ellos.<br>#128577; Todo bien.

Exceptional<br>#128578; Very well placed for exploring Bayeux. Very central so can walk to all the sites but also on a quiet side street. If you want to go further afield only short walk as well to station and train service is frequent, reliable and good value. Bayeux is a lovely old town, plenty of places to eat in close proximity to this residence and a Carrefour nearby if you want to self cater. I came to see the Tapestry. It did not disappoint. Visited twice. Price into museums is very reasonable and you can get ...<br>#128577; Lots of previous reviews have mentioned the steep, spiral staircase up to the flat.. I am not listing it as something I did not like as it is a common and interesting feature in an old building. - but just worth being aware of if you may struggle with that. Only other mention for any English visitors is to practice the long lost art of using an old style cork screw. Remember that the French have not embraced the screw top wine bottle or the cork screw with handles.

Best location in town for...<br>#128578; The apartment is great. Its location couldn’t be better: on a historic street where the cathedral is. The apartment has everything you need to cook your own meals and a minibar. The bed is comfy and so is the living room (lots of brochures and board games). Perfect for a solo traveler or a young couple. Oh and Bayeux, wow, simply beautiful. The host was more than friendly: he gave me lots of advice and helped me find a train to go to Mont Saint Michel (it’s Bayeux-Pontorson). Thank you so much!<br>#128577; There is nothing I didn’t like, but I must warn fellow travelers with big luggage or people who are over 50 that the spiral stairs are a bit scary (3rd floor), though the host has told me they are looking into installing some rope/banister.
