Charmant cocon avec jardinet, au coeur de Saint Martin de Ré

😊: Lovely location, well-equipped & clean apartment, and a friendly welcome.. 😢: Having to pay extra for towels and sheets etc. was unexpected, and quite pricey (€18 just for towel hire for two people!). That said, the accommodation cost was relatively low, so it was still good value overall..

😊: The property is located super close to the heart of St Martin de Re. The apartment is small but sufficient for us as a couple for our weeks stay..

😊: Really good location. One minute walk into St Martin harbour. The apartment was clean, tidy and in excellent condition. Ample space and a full kitchen and utilities. The mini garden was really nice and very private. To be honest If I could afford it I would buy this apartment and live there permanently !!. 😢: Only one minor issue for me is parking. This would not stop me staying here again but it is a bit of a stretch claiming that "Free car parking is available at the property" The apartment complex is next door to the main carpark for St Martin harbour but it's not free. The FREE car parking is a good 10 minute walk away which is an issue for those with mobility problems and not the most convenient thing when you have to wander along a deserted pathway in the dark at night even though lle de Re' is perfectly safe and family friendly. It is only a minor thing and obviously the island isn't set up for masses of cars but perhaps being more honest about the parking not being at the actual property would be preferable. Alternatively you can pay for parking which is not a problem... just an additional expense to factor in..
