😊: -. 😢: We stayed in this property for a week with our family and our dog. Before arrival, we informed the host about the dog. Although animals were initially indicated as allowed in the listing, this turned out to be an error. The host nevertheless agreed to our stay with the condition that the apartment would be left in the same condition. We made sure to clean the apartment before leaving. The host sent us photos afterwards, which show mainly some remaining dog hair and a minor stain on a textile, which is consistent with a normal stay with a dog that had been accepted. Despite this, €140 was withheld from the deposit for “extra cleaning”. The invoice provided included overlapping charges (cleaning, laundry and additional time), and did not clearly justify such an amount in relation to the actual condition of the apartment. The initial invoice also contained an incorrect date (2022 instead of 2026), which was later corrected. We tried to resolve this calmly and directly with the host, but the host maintained their position throughout..
