Charmant studio cosy au cœur de Réallon - Wifi

😊: We were welcomed by the concierge who was very friendly and helpful and who also supplied bedding and towels at a small extra charge and who came at the end of our stay to collect the keys. The location of the property is in a small ski station so the resort is surrounded by mountains. There were a number of facilities very close by - a small supermarket and another food shop selling bread and local products. There were also a couple of bars and a restaurant - one with an outdoor swimming pool- all very convenient. The property is small - but this was explained in the written details we saw when booking and there is a small seating area outside and a picnic table which we used when having breakfast. The apartment is well equipped - there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided.. 😢: The property is advertised as being suitable for five people - there were only 3 of us. Although there are beds for 5 (including a sofa bed and bunk beds), I feel the accommodation would be extremely tight for five. Whilst most things worked well, there were a couple of minor defects - a lamp not working and the shower room washbasin which was slow to empty - we mentioned these to the concierge at the end the of our stay so that they could be addressed. There is wi-fi at the property but the code provided didn't appear to work. We weren't planning to cook as we the reason for our stay was to visit friends nearby but cooking facilities were very limited - a small hob, separate small oven and a small microwave. Space inside the apartment is very limited - especially when the sofa bed is folded out to make a double bed. There is an indoor table with seating but it partly obstructs the door to the shower room. We had to arrange and pay separately for bedding and towels to be provided - an unusual arrangement in my experience and one which might have been easy to overlook and which had to be arranged by phone with the concierge along with arranging times to collect and hand back the keys, so it's helpful to have a reasonable level of spoken French to do so. It would be helpful if the booking details included the exact address - including the flat number of the apartment - although the concierge was there to meet us and show us where to go. Until she arrived, however, we had to deduce which of several somewhat similar buildings the flat was in from a photo on the booking sheet..
