Charmant T2 Bordeaux Proche tram & centre-ville

😊: Location to the local Tram stop was excellent, literally a 4 minute walk to the platform if you took the path opposite the apartment. Within easy walking distance to Supermarket and Bus Stops. Secure access, code required for the gate from the street, an electronic key fob for the main entrance. The balcony gives you a nice view.. 😢: Its cleanliness of the whole apartment was extremely disappointing. We found discarded cigarettes on the balcony and a dirty ashtray left on the wall. The main light fitting had a conduit hanging from the ceiling, in addition to the shade that was covered in dust and also had cobwebs around it. Cobwebs are also clearly visible above the balcony door. There were numerous marks on the walls and rug, that suggested something had been spilt or wiped on the surface and then not been cleaned. The stools around the breakfast bar were shabby and in poor condition, the photos depicted that they were nice and shiny and new looking, this was not the case!!!! Cupboard door above the cooker had a hinge that needed fixing, which meant you could not close the door properly as a result.(This had been highlighted in a review previously to our stay). Cabinet door that housed the fridge was distorted and the door would not close properly. There were dirty plates,saucepans, lids and kitchen utensils etc , in addition to cracked cup and chipped plate. No plug in the kitchen sink to allow us to wash up our 2 coffee cups or used spoons. Discarded bag of old potatoes in the back of the cupboard that should have been removed before our arrival. We discovered the wardrobe doors were off the runners when we attempted to unpack. Drawers in the bedroom were chipped. Bathroom shelf was delaminating. The towel rail was covered in dust and had even more dust behind it. The basin was unclean and had no plug. Shower tray would not drain properly as the drain filter was clogged. The bathroom extractor was partly covered with a piece of old tissue paper and the fan vent was covered in dust. The toilet was in desperate need of limescale treatment, the pan was discoloured and looked disgusting. The apartment felt tired and neglected overall..
