Charmante bastide "LE BOCAGE" 4 à Cassis, piscine et jardin privés

Overall it’s a nice house in a reasonably good location (5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to Cassis centre). Whilst there had been a big storm on the day prior to our arrival (& the host team had more work to do than usual to prepare property) we were disappointed that we were not able to check in to the property until 4pm. Whilst the property was generally good, it felt a bit tired especially the outside areas where the smaller tables and chairs were badly corroded and the area surrounding the pool had not been maintained. The distribution of toilets is also not ideal - as none of the 3 toilets are located in the 3 double bedrooms. Overall we were slightly disappointed - though we enjoyed exploring the area

A fabulous villa and a fabulous host…Vanessa was super kind and wonderfully helpful throughout our stay…I’d thoroughly recommend a stay at Villa Bocage to anyone.

Everything about this home was absolute perfection. The home was clean and very well stocked, it was spacious for our group of 7 and the location was so close to Cassis beachfront and wine tasting. Our very difficult to impress 18-year olds loved this home almost more than the adults did. We grilled and dined al fresco each evening and most of us spent at least some time each day lounging poolside with a book or a drink. Vanessa was a most generous host and gave us several dining, activity and winery recommendations, all of which were spot on. We would gladly stay here again and again and are so happy we had the opportunity to visit Cassis and use this as our home base.

First class property

The property has tons of space indoor and outdoor for us (family of 9). We had the opportunity to use the pool and it was definitely helpful in a hot summer day. The AC comes in handy too, which was part of the reason why we chose this property (and it was not easy to find a bigger house with AC in the area). We also liked that it’s close to town. While it’s not walking distance but it’s not a big deal if you have a car. The house and linens are clean and comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that because there’s extra linen fee, it’ll be easier to decide which beds will be used and communicate with Vanessa ahead of time so they can setup accordingly. We decided how we’ll allocate the rooms/beds after arrival so there was a little bit more communications (which was not an issue as Vanessa is super responsive). We enjoyed our stay and will recommend Vanessa and her property.

Vanessa is a fabulous host and I was so happy to be in her property and enjoying The New Year Eve with two other friends families. I was bombarding her with so much detailed questions, but she never changed her kindness and always gave me a complete answers. Great area. The house is really well situated for lots of activities all year long. Absolutely clean house and completely comfortable for family and friends get together. We'll definitely come back

We had a photo shoot on the coast nearby, it was the perfect location for the crew to rest peacefully before and after a busy day on set. Everyone had their privacy and enjoyed sitting out in the garden to relax. Close to train station as well was great. Host was helpful and communicative on Whatsapp. Would ideally return in the warmer months to enjoy the pool a bit more :)
