Charmante maison, confort, calme, vue imprenable, piscine chauffée

A delightful property, ideally situated for exploring the Loir valley. Spotlessly clean with beautiful gardens and pool. Noëlle And Henri were perfect hosts, together with Athos their chilled dog. We will be back next year.

We had a wonderful holiday at La Ravaloire. The hosts (Noëlle and Henri) made us feel so welcome - and their excellent English more than made up for our poor French! And a special mention to Athos, the friendliest dog ever. The area around Bazouges, and along the 'Le Loir' river valley is peaceful, not too busy - but with plenty to see and do. (It is worth mentioning that Le Loir is different to its more famous big sister the 'La Loire' river, which is about 35km south.) The property itself is charming, has been tastefully decorated and is set in the middle of woodland but with distant views over the valley to the southwest. We really enjoyed the swimming pool which is a good size - clean, warm with plenty of space around it for the comfortable sun loungers. In summary, if you are seeking a peaceful, relaxing break in a little romantic French hideaway - then La Ravaloire will not disappoint.

A very quiet and comfortable property and location to unwind in. Usually the only sound is birdsong. Noelle and Henri are helpful, considerate and friendly hosts and Athos is possibly the friendliest dog in France. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

If you want time away from it all, in a tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable classic French retreat, this is the place. Surrounded by trees and wildlife but close enough to the shops for your daily supplies, Henri and Noelle will leave you to relax in peace, enjoy the fabulous outdoor pool and soak up the ambience of this special spot. Many of their guests return again and again and we certainly will too.

We had a lovely week, warmly welcomed by Henri who was very accommodating towards our elderly Jaguar! The cottage is maintained to a high standard and the pool is always clean and inviting. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived until Boris cut short our break by a day! So pleased we were able to make it back to Bazouges-sur-le-loir.

Thank you to Henri and Noelle for a wonderful stay. Thanks must also go to Athos the dog who was just a delight! The property is beautiful. The one bed house we stayed in is perfect for a couple. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable with incredible views! We loved the heated pool and the BBQ was just great. Thank you for your hospitality and for the great wine recommendation!

We were so impressed with this property! Tranquil, peaceful, calm, relaxed - just what we needed. It's out of the way but still within walking distance of the town with its bakery, shop, bar and fantastic restaurant. The house is beautiful - clean and very well-appointed. Noelle and Henri were excellent hosts - helpful when we needed them but not intrusive. The pool is superb. All in all a magnificent place to unwind and relax. Brilliant!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au sein de votre belle et grande propriété. Nous cherchions un cadre champêtre, un très bon niveau d'équipement, la tranquillité. tous les critères étaient au rendez vous et nous en avons été enchantés. Au final, si j'avais à mettre une appréciation chiffrée, je mettrais : Accueil, conseil et communication : 5/5 aménagements intérieurs, décoration et équipements : 5/5 aménagement et équipements extérieurs et piscine : 5/5. Une location à recommander pour les séjours Farniente ou l'on souhaite vraiment déconnecter et profiter de la grande piscine chauffée.
