Charmante maison landaise rénovée idéal pour familles : La Bergerie

Property was fantastic hot tub was great but for us a little to rural which meant to many midgy bites for my partner but the red squirrels running around and the local chicken coming to feed in the morning in the garden grounds was good for the soul.

We stayed for two weeks. We really enjoyed the house which is well equipped and the Canadian Spa was great at the end of the day. The gas barbecue came in handy for some delicious scallops. The hosts Morgane and Christian were really welcoming and very helpful and responsive. The situation of the house requires a bit of driving but you are in the middle between the beaches on the west side and the castles and wineries on the east side, and you can visit Bordeaux and Arcachon as well. Very happy with our stay.

Maison très agréable. Décoration chaleureuse Maison très propre. L équipement était de bonne qualité et complet. L espace du terrain convenait parfaitement comme espace de jeux pour des enfants. Notre séjour à été très agréable

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, gemütliches Haus mit riesiger, wunderschöner überdachter Holzterrasse. Traumhafter Garten! Eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, Waschmaschine, alles in sehr gutem Zustand und sehr sauber! Tolle Betten, schöne Bettwäsche! Alles mit liebevollen Details versehen. Ein Bäcker befindet sich im Ort, 3 km, der nächste Supermarkt in 12 km , dort bekommt man wirklich alles. Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Fahrradtouren, Sightseeing, auch ans Meer und natürlich nach Bordeaux. Schade, dass wir dieses Ferienhaus nicht früher entdeckt haben, es ist perfekt für eine Familie mit Kindern. Wir haben dort außerordentlich erholsame Tage verbracht! Séjour très agréable et reposant au milieu de la forêt. Maison très propre, joliment rénovée avec tout le matériel nécessaire. Exactement comme sur la présentation sur abritel. Petit cadeau d'accueil très apprécié. Seul tout petit bémol : un peu de circulation à certaines heures sur la route qui longe la maison

Wir haben unseren 3-wöchigen Urlaub im August in diesem wundervollen Haus sehr genossen! Es ist liebevoll, modern, geräumig und einfach schön saniert worden und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die große, überdachte Terrasse dient einem zu jeder Tageszeit als geräumiger Essplatz und mit den Liegestühlen als willkommene Ruheoase. Der Garten ist riesig, der perfekte Fußballplatz für unsere Kinder. Zahlreiche Radwege, die Badeseen, sowie der Kletterpark in Hostens bieten ein ideales Freizeitprogramm. Das Meer mit tollen, bewachten Stränden erreicht man in etwa 1 h, z.B. in Biscarosse Plage oder Mimizan Plage. Ein Ausflug nach Bordeaux lohnt sich natürlich auch sehr, auch dahin ist man etwa 1 h unterwegs. Der nächste große Supermarkt befindet sich in Belin-Béliet, man muss also ein wenig fahren. Bei Problemen mit dem Jacuzzi kam sofort ein netter Herr vorbei, der das Problem sofort beseitigte. Wir können einen Aufenthalt dort also uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und waren sicher auch nicht das letzte mal dort. Vielen Dank!

The house was very livable in with exception that there were no English style mugs or large glasses but this appears to be a French trait. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and watching the wildlife in the garden including deer (beyond the fence) and red squirrels (which looked black) as well as lots of birds and lizards. There was the odd hornet however. The local lady was exceptionally helpful when my necklace broke and the pendant fell down between the decking boards. She turned up very promptly with a colleague who pulled up the decking boards and, amazingly, I managed to find the missing part of my necklace. The necklace had huge sentimental value so we were really grateful for this - thank you! On the negative side the house is right by the road which is not obvious from the photographs online. The road is quiet but ironically busier than where we live in a reasonably built up area. There are no blinds in the two bathrooms despite there being plenty of blinds, curtains and shutters in the rest of the house. When it's dark and the light is on, if somebody stood on the road outside they would be able to see you clearly. Frankly we found this weird and apparently we were not the first guest to highlight the issue. The area generally is very quiet, unlike nearer the coast, but there are still good restaurants and supermarkets nearby although the restaurants have fairly restricted opening hours compared to other places.

We experienced no issues renting this property for a week. The house is in a lovely location . Our host was helpful and friendly advising us of the weather warning which had been issued across France (Heat wave) which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, a pleasant stay.
