Charmante maisonnette au calme entre Beauce et Perche

😊: Although the hosts were away, they were easy to contact by mobile, no problems. Large room and outdoor space to eat; It is our 2nd stay and we would stay again.. 😢: nothing.

😊: Spacious, clean and well-equipped apartment which was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Although it was only one large room and a bathroom, the layout was such that it felt as if there were separate rooms. Previous storm damage to the trees meant we were not able to make full use of the garden but we still managed to sit outside using the small dining table and deckchairs provided. We shared the garden with the cat and the chickens so we were asked to keep our dog on a lead in the grounds ;) ! The entrance and parking for the property was private and it was secure behind gates. It was a very quiet and peaceful area. There were local walks around the small hamlet but it was also close to some interesting places such as Senonches, pretty towns along the river Eure and of course Chartres, which was worth a visit. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and seemed genuinely keen for you to have a pleasant stay..

😊: Overall experience was very good and would stay again without requesting breakfast!. 😢: We were asked what hot drink we wanted for breakfast and confirmed through verry good communication with host. We knew the cost was extra. A figure of £10 was stated for an exceptional breakfast on the website not knowing if this was per person or for two. Not a problem either way! The breakfast was delivered when requested but was quite disappointing, just two pods of coffee for Nespresso, two chunks of bread, small amount of marmalade, two chocolate croissants plus yoghurts and juice. The photos indicated something that was a little more exceptional for 25 euros!.
